Creative Audio Works can transfer your old recordings and put them in a format that can be preserved and passed on to generations of future listeners. With over 30 years of industry experience in audio recording, we provide audio transfer, restoration and archival services for professional as well as consumer markets. For the last 100 years there have been many forms of audio storage, reel to reel, cassette and digital audiotape (DAT), to name a few. These formats have allowed many to save moments in our history and personal lives With state of the art software and hardware available, Creative Audio Works is able to transfer media from obsolete formats onto gold archival CD’s. In addition, we also have the technology to restore old recordings by removing unwanted noise such as clicks, pops, hum and tape hiss. Our equipment list includes 4 Otari MTR-10 and 12 recorders, 2 Studer A710 cassettes, 12 Marantz 508 cassette decks, 3 Tascam 34B 4 track reel to reel decks capable of speeds from 1 and 7/8th ips to 15 ips. Highly modified Motu digital converters are used for A-D conversion. Three Apple G5 computers are used for digital processing. Creative Audio works also has a dedicated server for you to download your files directly.
